Spam

Well all web sites have it and now a spammer has come to this one.
I have set all kinds of filters for trackbacks and spam email and some of it still gets through.
But, you know what? I trust my readers and, aside from refining the filters to cut the junk, I'm not going to do more. I have a book to write that is more important.
I have confidence that you will ignore those spam mails that get through. It isn't worth my time trying to protect you when you have already shown your sophistication by visiting this site. [Nice line and I really do think it is true. But, my compliment is to you, not me.]

Good suggestion Mike. I just reversed the order of comments to make the oldest first.

Wonderful site, posts, and discussions.
However, I have one request: Would it be possible to change the sort order of the comments? The most recent post gets placed at the top, which makes reading posts that are follow-ups or responses to a previous post appear to be out of context.
I've adapted by going to the last post in a particular comments section and reading upward, but it's a poor substitute.
Again, thanks for the great site.

Its a distasteful subject, but completely true.. Since swapping to a Paleodiet I barely need to use toilet paper any more. Surely this is the way we were designed to defaecate?
I hear people in other toilet stalls and working seemingly ripping of metres and metres of toilet paper time after time. Surely this cant be right?

Prof. De Vany,
I hope you will forgive me for hijacking this thread. I don't think you really offered up this post expecting much comment so I'm going to use this opportunity to ask you what you consider the bio-markers are for good health. By good health I mean that one's metabolism is functioning within its design parameters. I hope my phrasing isn't too murky.
For myself, I have three bio-markers which are important to me: the condition of my skin, the color, smell and consistency of my stools, and my libido.
As to skin condition, I consider that as not requiring an explanation. Regarding stools: I cannot imagine paleo-man having smelly, sticky stools. This, to me, is a matter of hygiene and safety and, so, I avoid those foods which cause "unnatural stools" (Grains, in my opinion, are the worst offenders). Lastly, low libido is a sign of low testosterone. Leaving sex aside, testosterone gives man his drive and sense of well-being. As I move toward old age I am only too aware of the slow slide into passivity of my peers. They seem to lose their creativity and sense of purpose. I would be grateful for any comment you may wish to make on this subject.
I hope I not am abusing commenting privileges with this interjection.
