Never Forget

I know where I was on September 11, 2001. I remember the anger and horror and disbelief as my son and I watched the television images of the planes crashing into the World Trade Towers. We were in an auto dealership processing the paper work for a lease on a small SUV for my son and his family. Four years later, the lease is up and we just turned in the vehicle yesterday.

I am still angry. I will never forget this event. I would go into the dens of Hell, if there were such a place, to get even with these mad men. They were fools and the names of the perpetrators will go down in history as mad men who denied their humanity and were duped.

They are not in Paradise; they no longer exist and they are gone, but for the memories they leave behind. Their biological substrate is destroyed for a fairy tale told by mad men. They are no more.

We must not forget, for these sorts of fools exist in the world of violent Islam and the mad men who urge them on still operate today. They offer nothing in this life. And, there is nothing they or anyone can offer beyond this life.

There is nothing beyond the biological stuff of life except for the memories you leave behind in your offspring, friends, and those you influence. And your genes, but they don't care about you or remember you. You are a vessel for their reproduction. And, they don't believe in virgins since that would lead to their extinction. So, there are no virgins in Paradise.

We may yet learn that Sheik Mohammad and Ramsi Yousef before him were sponsored by Saddam. They had begun the WTC plots before Bin Laden's involvement, if he was involved. Given that we rely on Mohammed's telling of the story, we can't even know that Al Qaida was behind the event. There are suspicious links to Iraq through pass port forgeries and trip origins. More likely, 9/11 and other acts of this kind, though part of Al Qaida's past, are linked to the real sources of terrorism and inequity in the Middle East; the states that terrorize their own subjects and sponsor terrorism through out the world.

In that sense, none of this is related to Islam.

Yes, most knew what they were doing though some of the "muscle" guys may not have known all the details. How many of them believed they would reach Paradise? Or temporary fame among some Muslims? The only fame or wealth that flows from these acts go to the Mullahs who supply these dupes to their evil intentions.

Mullahs used to be modest and ride bicycles, now they vie for fame through preaching jihad and drive Peugeots. Its the money and the control, not the religion. When does a peaceful Mullah ever make the press? This is the fault of the media, but more could step forward with real condemnations, not the hedged statements one too often sees.

I agree that few muslims are of this type, but some are. That is just a fact we have to face and it says nothing general about the religion. I belong to no religion and would never hand my moral judgements to someone else. Or go onto a path that I knew served the wrong purpose. Sattar: do you mean to say at this point that you do not know who was behind 9/11?

Art,
Please do not foul Islam. Not all muslim carry hate for humanity. Bad apples can be found almost anywhere.
All religions spew hate against other religions or put them down as I see it. Why?
Heaven and hell basically is a creation of men to control the followeres and believers.
I am a muslim and I do not condone these acts of violence against innocent people reagardless of there religion, or origin.

Who is to say who was really behind this act?
If I threw enough dirt at someone, some of it will surely stick.
Killing thousand of Japanese with Atomic bomb was not a mercy act. Innocents were killed.

Duped? Maybe a handful. Most of them knew precisely what they were doing. The only good thing about it was that many of them had not yet reproduced.
