Thanks

Thanks very much for your kind comments regarding my wife's health.
She is home today for the first full day and I have arranged for nursing and some other help. I know I have to get to the gym and play or this will be too hard for me.
You know, I really believe and practice what I say and it has helped to get us through this latest crisis and what we have faced many times before with her marginal health.
We are in the stochastic flow and can't set the outcomes. But, we can make good choices and increase the odds of getting onto good paths.
A brief point on ST/FT...
know that aging is commonly said to be responsible for the decline in FT that most people experience. That decline is wholly a product of modern life. It is not in the genes and it is not programmed by some aging module.
The loss of FT fiber is the result of disuse. The nerve endings atrophy and fail to signal contractions that are strong enough to evoke FT action. That is why I always go for the intensity and high contraction/fiber recruitment. I would rather do one or two hard things with high recruitment and strong contraction than work out for an hour piddling around. My current work outs are very short, though I don't time them. A few easy things, a couple of hard things, then a few more easy things on the way out.
A strong and correctly aligned core is one of my prime objectives. Back bridges on a Swiss inflatable ball and one-leg deep knee bends are the mainstays lately for this part. These one-legged squats teach the glutes to drive properly and disables the forward pelvic tilt and excess reliance on hamstrings and lower back erectors. I am back up to 205, a nice weight for me, with 210 easily in reach if I so choose.
I have worked out for so long that I can look at a barbell and make muscle. So, I am just making sure to get into the gym and then to do whatever seems right when I am in there. Making sure to do something challenging. This is driving my hormones and making all the right stuff.
Great health to all of you. Make sure to look good and you will be good. Form follows function.

I've been meaning to ask that question for a long time, always thought it to be contradictory to the idea of evolutionary fitness. I still think it is but I'm too curious about your answer.
What is your take on creatine for putting on some mass.
The idea to take that stuff with sugar right after training must surely rub you the wrong way. Have you ever used it and if so what's your experience with it?
Again, I hope your wife is recuperating and I wish her all the best to do so soon.
