I have noticed that Mexicans in Puerto Vallarta are a bit heavy, with a sort of uniform mild obesity that seems to affect a high percentage of the populace. On the other hand, I have seen no extreme cases of obesity of the kind you can encounter every day in most American cities. Then again, we do know that the world's fattest man lives in a small village in Mexico and there is another man in Mexico who just behind.
