Different countries, different covers. The book cover for the US version is probably more to the liking of some. This is the first draft. The graphic goes all the way around the book to single-celled organisms. I am having the last character in the sequence, the modern man, made a bit shorter and heavier than the Cro Magnon just before. I felt the longer sequence of organisms and animals was more appropriate (though you can't see it here) because most of the metabolic pathways, such as the insulin/IGF/aging pathway and those important mitochondria---that are missed even in most Paleo books---are very important since they represent deep evolution. I don't think any of the books out have much or anything on complex dynamics, power laws, and fractal physiology. Or, for that matter, letting go and not trying to manage food intake or energy expenditure.
