It is sometimes alleged that supplementing glutathione, directly with Ultrathione or indirectly with NAC or alpha lipoic acid, disturbs nitric oxide signalling. Now, this is shown to be wrong and that GSH is involved in buffering NO flux, particularly in the active brain.
