Here is one from the Archives that was outside the norm at the time, but is now more or less accepted wisdom.
A question that is on many minds is how can you build muscle size training intermittently? We have many prime examples of those who can. I put myself in this category, but nothing like Mike Menzter and Dorian Yates.
Not such new news, but a start to solving the mystery of runner deaths

The runners had no evidence of heart issues. But, most had a sub-clinical fibrosis in the right ventricle of the heart. That may not be seen easily, but it can cause fibrillation which may kill the runner. It begins to answer the point that apparently healthy runners can suddenly die when they showed no evidence of heart issues.

This is a pretty complete article on triathlon deaths. Almost all of them are associated with the swim portion. This has been know to some extent, but this article has the best collection of evidence I have seen.

This has been know for a long time, but it is still argued that fat is the cause of elevated LDL triglycerides. The key is insulin sensitivity.

I don't know why I didn't think of this sooner. You can adapt stretch/flex technology to most exercises with a simple procedure.

Well, after all the surgeries, work and tennis, I am weighing in at my old 205 pounds. It has been a while since I have weighed that much, though it has been my long-term weight for many years.
